Saturday, August 4: Breakfast and welcome at GZ, welcome Peace Walk at 11:00, carpool to Hood Canal for Boats By Bangor water protest, evening concert with Irthlingz duo.
Sunday, August 5: Nonviolence training, keynote addresses by Ray McGovern of Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity, planning and discernment for nonviolent direct action on Monday, Archbishop Raymond Hunthausen memorial.
Monday, August 6 (Hiroshima anniversary): gather at 6:30 AM for vigil and civil disobedience action at Bangor gates.
With the current world situation, we need voices of restraint and sanity more than ever to avoid nuclear war and to abolish these horrific weapons that Archbishop Hunthausen called “the Auschwitz of Puget Sound”.
