10:30 – 11:30 KUUF Sanctuary, Reverend Carol McKinley: Clarence Skinner, the most influential Universalist minister of the 1930s and 1940s, believed in the Vision Splendid. In his time, many felt hopeless because of war and economic hard times, but Skinner continued to proclaim Universalism’s message of hope and love. Today, the faith of our Universalist foremothers and forefathers continue to inspire us as we seek to live into our vision of a world of peace, understanding and unity.
The Reverend Carol McKinley is an affiliated community minister with the Olympia UU Congregation, where she coordinates its Faith in Action Ministry. She also serves on the Pacific Northwest District Healthy Congregations Team.
