Chalice Circles

A Chalice Circle consists of 6-12 people, including a trained volunteer facilitator. Each group meets once or twice a month for about two hours.  At each gathering, members share with each other what is going on in their lives, and discuss a topic of spiritual or personal importance chosen for that evening.  Circles are encouraged to participate in a service project together.

The facilitators attend quarterly meetings led by the planning committee and the minister for ongoing support, skill building, and problem-solving.

Email chalicecircles@kuuf.org if you would like to attend. Or you can call the KUUF Office: (360) 377-4724. Please let us know where you live and if you are looking for a group that meets in person or via Zoom. Also tell us whether days or evenings are best for you.

Why Chalice Circles?

“There’s a depth of connection you don’t get to in the social interaction after services. You get to know someone better.”

“Sessions take stress away rather than adding it — there are no expectations except to come and share and make connections. It was fun!”

“It feeds my soul.”

Chalice Circles…

Are a way to keep connected within the fellowship;
Offer a spiritual setting for personal growth;
Allow group members to interact on a meaningful level;
Allow for flexible, open communities of varying size and composition.
