Beloved Conversations Virtual: Within
Fall Registration Ends August 26th!
Beloved Conversations —a Unitarian Universalist anti-racism and spiritual formation program offered through Meadville Lombard Theological School— invites you to join us for the next term of our Within program, open to all adult learners who are committed to justice and ready to deepen and transform.
Beloved Conversations went virtual in the Fall of 2020 and since then, more than 3,000 folks have joined our Within learning community! Participants have shared with us that this program has been life-changing, allowing them to learn more about themselves, deepen their commitments to and skills for anti-racism and anti-oppression, and connect with others through the spiritual practice of justice-making.
The Fall Term registration closes on August 26th and the 12 week program begins September 12th, 2022. A total of six Lessons, which are navigated at one’s own pace, are published every two weeks online, and complemented by biweekly small group check-ins and monthly large group worship and discussion. Within runs in two separate sections: our BIPOC+ participants are invited into the Gathering Our Selves program and our white participants are invited into the Un/learning for Liberation program. Both programs have their own learning goals and engaging, thoughtful, multimedia content. Within runs twice a year, with a 12 week term in the Fall and a 12 week term of different content in the Spring. You may begin at either time and complete one or both terms.
We hope you will join us, as we build a learning community grounded in UU values and committed to collective liberation! In Beloved Conversations, we are here to heal the impact of racism on our lives. Let's get free together. Learn more and register at meadville.edu/beloved
