“For Glad Spring has begun and to the ardent sun the earth, long time so bleak turns a frost-bitten cheek” -Celia Thaxter, American Poet
The Spring Equinox is upon us and the light continues to increase. The sun has crossed the celestial equator and heads north in the sky. The birds, grubs and worms are returning and the crocus is in bloom. Lets celebrate this change of season and together turn our frost-bitten cheeks toward that ardent sun of hope.
