Indivisible Bremerton Meetings: July 11, July 13, and August 8
Upcoming Indivisible Bremerton meetings in July and August are face-to-face Meet-the-Candidates events. These events will take place in the covered picnic shelter on the south side of Evergreen Park (same side of the park as the 9/11 Memorial) and are not on Wednesdays to avoid conflicts with regularly scheduled city council and school board meetings. We need you to attend both of these meetings to learn more about the candidates, so please plan to attend and bring a friend!
Tuesday, July 11, 6:30 to 7:15 p.m. (Central Kitsap School District) and 7:30 to 8:15 p.m. (South Kitsap School District): We are inviting the 3 – 4 candidates from each district that we plan to support. To give them adequate time to speak we are staggering them in two district-specific segments. Far-right candidates are running in both of these school districts and their opponents need our support. Even if you do not have children attending either of these districts, both have candidates who are supported by the right-wing Moms for Liberty group. Please attend.
Thursday, July 13, 7:00 to 7:45 p.m. (Bremerton City Council candidates in Districts 2, 4, and 6): Candidates Denise Frey, Jane Rebelowski, Marwan Cameron, and Anna Mockler will be there. Plan to attend to learn more about them and how you can help.
Tuesday, August 8, 7:00 to 7:45 p.m. (Bremerton School District): We are inviting the three candidates we plan to support. At this point, the race for Director Position 1 appears to be the one that will need most of our attention, but that could change if write-in campaigns are launched to either of the other two positions.
