On Sunday, August 11, after the service in the KUUF Sanctuary, Kathy Railsback will speak on trauma education workshops she has been co-facilitating with South Sudanese Refugees in East Africa. Join us for this special presentation sponsored by Adult Education and the Social Justice Committee.

Kathy, who has traveled to East Africa roughly a dozen times over the past 10 years, won a service award in 2023 to work with trainers in Kenya and Uganda to offer trauma education workshops for hundreds of South Sudanese refugees in those countries. The teams have also trained dozens of new facilitators.
