Martha Durkee-Neuman Presents I Love You to the Point of Invention

  • Kitsap Unitarian Universal Fellowship 4418 Perry Avenue Northeast Bremerton, WA, 98310 United States (map)

Putting love at the center of our faith means reflecting on the many ways we understand love. One way is thinking about love as the ultimate creative force. How does love inspire creativity? What does love drive us to invent? Join guest preacher Martha Durkee-Neuman for an exploration of some surprising stories from history of what has been invented through acts of love and a reflection on what is possible for us through the creative power of love.

Martha Durkee-Neuman (she/her) is a lifelong UU young adult originally from the Columbia River Gorge, now living in Seattle and serving as the Intern Minister at the Edmonds Unitarian Universalist Congregation. Martha will be welcomed into fellowship as a UU minister this summer. She previously served as the Director of Religious Education at First Parish in Malden and is a graduate of Harvard Divinity School. Martha is passionate about interfaith solidarity and transformative justice. She can often be found reading, hiking, and dancing.
