Ever had life all planned out, only for the Universe (or God, or fate, or whatever you call it) to throw in a surprise twist? Sometimes you're heading in one direction, and suddenly—boom!—you're on a whole new path. Come ready to laugh, reflect, and maybe even embrace the holy plot twists in your own journey!
Rev. Kari serves as the Community Minister and the acting Executive Director of The Chaplaincy Institute, an interfaith seminary and community, based in Berkeley, California. She grew up as a Unitarian Universalist and served in UU institutions for 20 years before stepping beyond the bounds of UUism and being ordained as an interfaith minister.
Kari lives in Kent where she tends a bossy charm of hummingbirds and an elderly, deaf old lady dog who owns her whole heart. Kari has been married to her beloved spouse for 37 years and has three grown sons and three precious daughters-in-law. She is happy to be with the good folks at KUUF, again.
