Rev. Victoria Poling Presents Easter and Ostara

  • Kitsap Unitarian Universal Fellowship 4418 Perry Avenue Northeast Bremerton, WA, 98310 United States (map)

Our multigenerational Easter service is a celebration for all ages with a message of new life returning in spring, and of hope that can always be renewed. Worship for the whole family will be in the KUUF sanctuary, and feature stories drawn from indigenous European and Christian sources on the Goddess Ostara and Jesus. The choir will teach us some child-friendly hymns. We’ll make crafts and dye easter eggs. And after the service there will be an Easter egg hunt for children and youth. All egg hunting abilities are welcome, and all participants will receive a gift bag of treats. If you’d like to learn one of the new(er) hymns in advance, listen to the Meditation on Breathing here.

We are still needing donations for the gift bags and volunteers to help with the egg hunt. Please drop off individually wrapped treats in the office or the Sanctuary by March 26 and email Melinda if you can help.
