Our KUUF Safe Congregations Committee is presenting a one hour class via Zoom on verbal de-escalation on Saturday, September 7 at 11:00 am, facilitated by Jerry Butler. Verbal de-escalation has to do with listening to and responding with compassion to someone who is upset so as to promote empathy and understanding and help them come back to a place of connection and dialogue.

This class is part of our Safe Congregations training program for our volunteer Safety Monitors, Ushers, and Greeters, but is also open to anyone in the KUUF community who is interested.
