Throughout human history mountains have played a significant role in the spiritual lives of people. Whether that be as a place of retreat or an obstacle to overcome, there is something profound about these topographical features.
The Rev. Zackrie Vinczen (he/him) has been the minister at Cedars Unitarian Universalist Church since 2019. Zackrie holds a Master of Divinity from Starr King School for the Ministry and Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing and Philosophy from Western Washington University. In addition, Zackrie is currently enrolled in Antioch University’s Master of Mental Health Counseling Program. In his personal life, Zackrie enjoys improv classes, shape note singing, reading and writing poetry, and gardening. Zackrie lives in Suquamish with his husband Elliott.
