The theme for February is The Practice of Inclusion
Children’s Religious Education
In CRE children will be exploring The Practice of Inclusion. The Religious Exploration program continues to lift up the long-loved Unitarian Universalist commitment to “deeds, not creeds” while connecting to the core value of love.
February 23: Stories and Religion: The Practice of Not Leaving Religion Out
In this session, the group will look at the way religions get left out and treated as “untrue,” “immoral,” and even “evil.” The UU commitment to religious diversity and the UU belief that all religions contain truth will be a central part of the discussion. UUs are called to help people value the learnings and insights from all of the world’s religions and understand that there are many valid spiritual paths to travel.
