Rev. Dr. Barry Andrews presents The Years Teach Much which the Days Never Know

“The years teach much which the days never know,” Emerson once wrote. I have taken his words as an invitation to look back on the year just past and to reflect on the bigger picture or deeper meaning of the events that occurred. What have the years taught us that will help us to understand and deal with the facts of our daily lives, especially during such a turbulent year as this one has been.
 

Rev. Dr. Barry Andrews is Minister Emeritus of the UU Congregation at Shelter Rock on Long Island. He and his wife, Linda, now live on Bainbridge Island. He is the author of several books on Transcendentalism and Transcendentalist authors, most recently, The Gospel According to This Moment: The Spiritual Message of Henry David Thoreau, published by the University of Massachusetts Press.
