The Spirit is moving! Waiting. Yearning. Hoping for what has not yet taken place. In the Christian calendar, it is Pentecost Sunday. In the Jewish tradition it is the Feast of Shavuot. The people, in all their glorious differences, come together around shared ideas of love, liberation, and a world shaped by reconciliation. This Sunday let us take inspiration from ancient religious traditions and imagine what it means for a Unitarian Universalist to be lit from within by the fire of justice, mercy and vision.
